Effective from 1 January 2018, German Halcour, having turned 65, resigned from his post as spokesman of the management at Lahmeyer Deutschland and retired from the management. For the time being, he will stay with the company as a consultant. German Halcour’s tasks will be taken over by Michael Bergmann, Managing Director at the office in Berlin, and Michael Lebsanft, Managing Director at the office in Bad Vilbel.

In April 2017, the companies Lahmeyer Berlin and Lahmeyer Rhein-Main merged into the Lahmeyer Deutschland GmbH – a subsidiary of Lahmeyer International. With the merger, the management intended to focus the Lahmeyer infrastructure expertise for Germany. After having been Rhein-Main’s Managing Director in Bad Vilbel since 2001, German Halcour was appointed spokesman of the management for the newly established company in 2017.

Halcour’s joint journey with Lahmeyer goes way back. After he graduated as civil engineer from TU Darmstadt and took his first vocational steps in small planning agencies, he began working at Lahmeyer as early as 1982. Until 1992, he accompanied national and international industry and infrastructure projects as the responsible project leader. Except for a break from 1992 to 1999, he has since held different leading positions at Lahmeyer.

Martin Seeger, CEO of Lahmeyer International, appreciated German Halcour’s outstanding work in determining the strategic orientation of the company and developing standards and processes in the handling of large-scale projects as well as in his day-to-day dedication for customers, employees and business partners. He expressed his gratitude on behalf of all co-workers.

Within the next months, German Halcour will still support Michael Bergmann and Michael Lebsanft, the managing directors of Lahmeyer Deutschland, in a consulting role.

From 1997 until 2008, Michael Bergmann worked for the Berlin subsidiary of Lahmeyer International and subsequent Lahmeyer Berlin as project manager and infrastructure department head. By the end of 2008, he moved to Nordwest engineering company, where he led the Berlin subsidiary. In 2014, he returned to Lahmeyer Berlin and was appointed Managing Director for Lahmeyer Deutschland in 2017.

Michael Lebsanft started at Lahmeyer Rhein-Main in 2008. In 2013, he took over the lead of the airports department, and as authorised signatory he was member of the Management Board. In January 2017, he was appointed Managing Director of Lahmeyer Rhein-Main together with German Halcour und Gerhard Saueracker and in May 2017, he took over the role as Managing Director of Lahmeyer Deutschland.
